How To Do Perfect Ponytails That Will Last All Day: Girls Hairstyles

I have to say that one of my most favorite things to do is to fix my daughter's hair, it's like playing with a live doll! The feeling is definitely mutual, because she loves for me to fix her hair. We do ponytails in hair quite a bit, because it stays out of her way and keeps it from tangling up.

So here's how you get perfect ponytails that last all day.....

You will need a water bottle to dampen the hair.....

A comb to comb and section the hair.....

And cute hair ties.....

Here is a video that demonstrates how to do these perfect ponytails.....

How to Blow Dry a Long Layered Haircut

Have you ever wondered why your long layered haircut looks so good when you leave the hair salon, but you can never do the same thing at home.  There are techniques that you can do yourself to make your hair look like it was professionly blown dry.

First, you need a good product in your hair to protect your hair from the heat of the blow dryer.
Redkin Satinwear 02 is one of my favorites.

You need a blow dryer....

You need a nozzle. This will control the air coming out of the hair dryer and help direct the hair to go where you want it to go.

You need hair clips.  You can use the clips to section out your hair. If you blow dry your hair in sections, you can avoid over-drying your hair and you will have more control of your blow dry.

Here are 2 "How to" videos that I did on "How to Blow Dry Your Hair with Long Layers Part 1 and Part 2 "....

Here's Part 1......

Here's Part 2.....

I hope that this helps you.  Good Luck!

How to Get Gum and Sticky Tack Out of Your Hair

Getting gum or sticky tack out of your hair might seem like a hopeless situation, but don't panic you can get it out without cutting your hair.

Gum is good to chew, but not so good in your hair....

Sticky tack works great for hanging up your children's artwork, but does not work well in your hair either....

Here is how you can get the gum or sticky tack out of your hair...

You can use peanut butter     or             Olive Oil.....

1.  Pin all the rest of your hair out of the way, you don't need it spreading any more.

2.  Work the peanut butter or olive oil into the affected area.  Rub it in really good between your fingers.

3.  Comb out the excess residue.  First with a large tooth comb and then a fine tooth comb.

This should do the trick!
