How to Blow Dry a Long Layered Haircut

Have you ever wondered why your long layered haircut looks so good when you leave the hair salon, but you can never do the same thing at home.  There are techniques that you can do yourself to make your hair look like it was professionly blown dry. 

First, you need a good product in your hair to protect your hair from the heat of the blow dryer.

You need a blow dryer....

 You need a nozzle. This will control the air coming out of the hair dryer and help direct the hair to go where you want it to go.

 

You need hair clips.  You can use the clips to section out your hair. If you blow dry your hair in sections, you can avoid over-drying your hair and you will have more control of your blow dry.
