There are many different shades of Red hair color. You can color your hair a light-orange red to a deep- purple red. It's all in the formulation.

Dear Tammy,
ReplyDeleteGreat tutorial!I really like your blog!
I would like your opinion on something...A year ago i had my hair full of blonde highlights,an i lokked like a platinum blonde. Now, i am a red hair but my colour washes after three weeks and i end with brow hair.
I would like to ask you if i have to bleach my hair, so that i can maintain my hair?
Also, do i have to dye my hair all over every month or just my roots?
My previous hairdresser did that and my hair are really worn...
Your opinion counts...Thank you, honestly!
Red always seems to fade. It is very hard to maintain the vibrance. I would stick with demi and semi permanent color if you don't want the line of demarkation from outgrowth. A red color enhancing shampoo and conditioner will help maintain. Use cooler water when shampooing and wash every other day. Hope this helps:)
Deletehi tammey!I watched your video and had a question.I have med-dark brown hair and recently got highlights that i dont like. They came out a brassy caramel/blonde color.I love the red violet colors is there any semi you can recommend and what level.I dont usually like Sally's hair color. Thanks so much!!
