A haircut is considered asymmetrical when one side of the head is shorter then the other side. This could be done when the the hair over the ears is left longer on 1 side and shaved on the other.  This could also be when the hair is left longer in the front and shorter in the back.   

Asymmetrical haircuts are fun, edgy and great for all ages.
